Purpose & Vision
When asked where he lived, the Indian holy man answered, “The sky is my roof, the land is my room.” Follow National Geographic Contributor, Greg Davis and Hearty Films as they return to India on a quest to track down a holy man that he photographed years before at the epic Kumbh Mela in India, the world’s largest pilgrimage. This search is not just for the man himself, but for the wisdom that resides within….somewhere between the heavens and the earth.
The Crew

Greg Davis
Executive Producer, Producer, Protagonist
Greg Davis, directed and produced his first short documentary, Cloth Paper Dreams (now available on www.gaia.com) in 2013 that won five awards and screened in fourteen film festivals and nine museums exhibitions. That project took him on a pilgrimage to the world’s largest gathering of humans ever recorded… India’s Kumbh Mela. For millennia, every twelfth year, millions of devoted pilgrims have gathered at the confluence of the three holiest rivers. It was from this journey, that a short film and twenty-four piece photographic exhibition were born. The photographic works are available for institutional and private exhibitions and collections worldwide. Greg is a fourth generation graduate of Baylor University, a National Geographic Contributing Photographer and a Founding Member of the Austin Center for Photography, his work serves as a reminder of the divine that resides within each of us.
